About us
My group investigates rheology, interfacial and transport behaviors of soft matter and complex fluids including colloidal suspensions, polymer solutions, dispersions, emulsions, foams, and nanofluids, for generating novel technological applications, mainly in the areas of sustainable subsurface energy production and storage, and the environment.
My research group also examines the physics of multiphase processes at length scales varying from the laboratory's pore and core to the geological scale.

Our laboratory is located in Natural Resources Engineering Facility (NREF) at the University of Alberta.
Our simulation team deals with machine learning/reinforcement learning, data integration, and analytics for the optimization of various processes and uncertainty reduction.
